A rapid transit station on the Dubai Metro’s Red Line, Al Furjan Metro Station is among the most popular in the city. As part of an extension built for Expo 2020, it opened in January 2021. Located on an elevated section of the metro track above Gardens Boulevard, the station is right on the border between the neighborhoods of Al Furjan and Discovery Gardens.
Due to its location along the Red Line, this station is convenient for accessing many places in Dubai, including Business Bay, the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall, and even the Dubai Airport. Businesses and residential communities coexist in the surrounding area. There are no major attractions right next to the station, but buses can take you to places like Discovery Gardens if you want.
